2009 fashion trends from London Fashion Week
The London Fashion Week 2009 came up with new creative designs and bold colors in clothing, accessories, and shoes. Some of the trends that were pin pointed during the catwalks at London Fashion Week are; short suit, Florals, Geometric Forms, Tribal, Summer Brights and different kinds of hats.
The short suits were more like short skirts with new designs along with full sleeves blouse. People were viewing those skirt catwalks very keenly and show up their likeness towards them.
The Floral trend made a great indentation towards fashion conscious people. In floral trend, the flowery touch was given to several clothing items like maxis, skirts, frocks, shirts and many more. Moreover, for enhancing beauty, flowers were added to the hairstyles to make soft look of the faces. Mainly, the bright colors were used to enhance this Floral Trend.
Geometric forms trend included geometric designs over the shirts, maxis and skirts. The geometric shapes used in the clothes were very sharp. Mostly the colors used for this trend were black, silver grey, steel grey and deep brown.
Tribal trend was more like folk patterns from Africa. The colors used for this trend were the shades of browns, creams and black. This trend also made a great influence over the viewers. Because the colors used were really decent.
Summer brights was seen with very great interest. Because the bright and pleasant colors were used in each type of clothing, hats, bags and shoes. A wide range of dresses were displayed during the catwalks which were the great collection of bright and pleasant colors.
Hats have been in trend for centuries. But the hats displayed during the catwalks in London Fashion Week were example of their own. They made a tremendous look along with the hairstyles. Mostly soft colors were used for hats matching with the dresses and bags.
